Spencer Myers, RMT
Spencer studied massage therapy at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, B.C. and has been working as a BC Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2017. During this time he has gained experience in working with individuals with varying impairments such as: motor vehicle accidents, work place injuries, scar tissue, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, disc herniation, osteoarthritis and many muscular and joint impairments. Using many different massage styles and modalities such as deep tissue, general relaxation massage, dynamic techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, he has been able to help a wide variety of patients find relief from chronic and acute injuries.
Prior to studying massage therapy, Spencer was employed in various positions in the automotive industry for over 10 years working in automotive mechanical repair, autobody, sales, and customization. Always being one to work with his hands and fascinated by learning how things function and operate, when it came time for a change Spencer moved into working with another type of machine, the human body.
Spencer has always had a passion for human anatomy and finding out how it works as well as solving the puzzles when it doesn’t. When he’s not working with patients or has his nose in an anatomy book, Spencer can usually be found out playing a round of golf, hiking in the forest, or walking along the many beaches of Nanaimo.
Spencer is always accepting new patients and currently works at the office from Tuesday - Saturday.
